Pre-notification of cargo, modality and Customs documentation
Submitting all the required information in advance is required for import and export cargo and for trucks, trains and barges alike. This can be done via internet or a system interface. Effective prenotification makes it easier than ever before to drop off or collect cargoes. What’s more, at shortsea and ferry terminals the transporter can check in Portbase ahead of time to make sure the Customs documentation is indeed present.
This concerns the notification of:
- All export documentation(via the service Notification Export Documentation)
- Check to ensure export documentation is present(via the service Track & Trace Export)
- All import documentation(via the service Notification Import Documentation 2.0)
- Check to ensure import documentation is present(via the service Import Status)
