The service Cargo Notification Import enables you to submit your declarations to customs quickly and efficiently and provides status information 24/7. The Port Community System is directly linked to the central customs declarations system for this purpose.
Customs also feed back any errors in the declaration via Cargo Notification Import, plus you receive up-to-date information on the status and any Customs inspections (scan, physical check, etc.). Within the statutory time period, you always have the option of supplementing and/or amending the information in a summary declaration.
The data you submit via Cargo Notification Import provides the basis for simplifying your information exchange further down the logistics chain via other Portbase services. For example, your data from the summary declarations can be reused in your follow-up declarations and your communication with terminals and customers.

The service will automatically determine whether an ENS and/or ATO needs to be submitted to Customs. In cases when an ENS is required first, once Customs has approved the ENS, an ATO will then automatically be submitted to Customs as well.

There is a one-off connection charge of €249.50 (ex. VAT) for this service.
