Calculate Scope 3 emissions of specific cargo, voyage or areas

OceanScore CargoFootprint is providing forwarders and shippers the most accurate data on Ocean transport emissions – voyage by voyage, cargo by cargo.

Using digital twins of every relevant vessel of the global fleet, CargoFP looks at every sea voyage leg on a unique basis. No two voyages are the same. CargoFP combines vessel-specific characteristics such as fuels, engine load, hull characteristics and voyage-specific variables such as the exact route taken, port stops, speed, draught and weather to calculate voyage specific emissions.

What is OceanScore?

Oceanscore is a global provider of compliance and data solutions for the maritime industry. We are focused on helping stakeholders navigate emission regulations and drive sustainability. OceanScore’s Scope 3 emission reporting takes reporting to the next level, offering customers pre-voyage and post-voyage well to wake emission calculations for their shipments that meet EU taxonomy requirements and ISO 14083 standards.

Current emission calculations rely on averages, failing to reflect efforts to reduce emissions (e.g., using efficient vessels). However accurate emission tracking is critical due to current regulations like CSRD.

OceanScore CargoFootPrint Solution

Our CargoFootPrint solution evaluates shipments individually, considering Vessel characteristics (such as size, age, engine spec) and Voyage details (such as speed, actual sailed route. On top of that, our solution also delivers post-voyage emission data for CO2, CO2e, NOx, SOx, NMHC, PM, and Well-to-Tank (WtT), Tank-to-Wake (TtW), and Well-to-Wake (WtW) metrics.

OceanScore is on a mission to deliver best-in-class data to all stakeholders in the maritime industry to support sustainability goals.
