As of the 16th of March 2021, Hinterland Container Notification (HCN) Barge will once again feature some additional functions. They constitute the next steps in the process toward the go-live of the integrated planning by Nextlogic.
Automatic cut-off unloading/loading lists for ECT
Following a number of improvements, HCN Barge will resume the automatic cut-off of unloading/loading lists for all barge calls to the ECT Delta and the ECT Euromax as of the 16th of March 2021. For both terminals, this cut-off is 8 hours before the scheduled arrival time of the barge. This applies to both full and empty containers. HCN Barge will only send ‘green’ pre-notifications to ECT at the cut-off moment, provided that a minimum call size is met as well.
Earlier submission of unloading/loading list
ECT encourages barge operators like yourself to submit an unloading/loading list as soon as its status is ‘green’. Specifically for calls to ECT, HCN Barge offers the button ‘Send load/discharge list’ for this. Not waiting until the automatic cut-off allows ECT to even better anticipate the barge call. You can make changes up to the cut-off moment. Newly added icons in HCN Barge offer you improved insight into the various statuses of the unloading/loading list and any pre-notifications that have not yet been submitted in that respect.

Reporting Fixed Windows and Barge Transferium Maasvlakte in HCN Barge
Do you have agreements about Fixed Windows and/or the Barge Transferium Maasvlakte (BTM) with one or more terminals? As of the 16th of March, you select the corresponding code from a drop-down list in HCN Barge when pre-notifying your call. You can see how to do this here.
