The service Clearance Transit Export Containers allows deepsea, shortsea and ferry terminals to automatically clear Transit (DVA) documents via Portbase. Electronic clearance improves terminal flow and enhances the quality of terminal processes.

Service description

The service Clearance TransitExport Containers notifies both T1 (External Union Customs Transport) and T2 (Internal Union Customs Transport) to Customs when the shipment is at its final destination.

Document types RT1 and RT2 indicate that the transit document is at its final destination; these documents are cleared via the service. External and internal Union Customs Transit, document types TT1 and TT2, will not be cleared because they are not at the final destination.
