Insight for Customs into how many containers more or fewer than notified are discharged.

The service Discrepancy List allows Customs to see how many containers more or fewer than notified have been discharged from a docked vessel per shipping line.

Service description

With the service Discrepancy List, Customs can actively monitor a shipping line’s administrative actions in a situation were more or fewer containers than notified are discharged. A revised summary declaration needs to be submitted for these containers within 72 hours of the vessel’s arrival.

Without a correct summary declaration, a container cannot leave the terminal. A quick check by Customs on the completeness and correctness of declarations thus prevents logistical delays and possible fines.
