Service description

Every EU member state is obliged to provide SafeSeaNet with data via a Single Point of Contact.

Notification SafeSeaNet is an extension of the service Vessel Notification and therefore only available when using Vessel Notification, which helps you with all your vessel notifications.

SPOC NL

SSPOC NL is the Single Point of Contact with the European SafeSeaNet for the Netherlands. Under the auspices of the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) in Lisbon, this is where information on vessel voyages and hazardous substances from all European countries is collected. Reuse of information

The service Notification SafeSeaNet reuses the data that shipping lines, shipbrokers and agents have previously submitted to you, the port authority, via the Portbase services Vessel Notification, Notification Dangerous Goods and Notification Waste Disposal. The only details the port authority needs to add to the service Notification SafeSeaNet via the Port Community System are each vessel’s current arrival and departure times.

No worries

With the service Notification SafeSeaNet, information is automatically sent to SPOC NL from the Port Community System via Single Window maritime and air. As the port authority, once you are connected you no longer have to worry about this.
